Review: Partner Plus by Satisfyer

January 27th, 2017

Ooo, what’s that?

That, right there, is the Satisfyer Partner Plus. And functional as it is, it’s also my cue to give up on this type of partner toy.

How’s it made?

It’s made of silicone, and is shaped like a U. It has about 2.75 inches of insertable length, and is about 1.5 inches at its widest point. It has one button to control the settings, which go high, medium, low, and then cycle through 7 patterns. It does not remember the last setting you used. But it is waterproof and rechargeable via a magnetic USB charger.

What’s it for?

The Partner Plus is exactly what the name suggests: a toy made for use with a partner. You insert the side without a button into a vagina, and then insert a penis (or dildo) into a vagina, and voila!

Many people try this type of sex toy for hands free use, but in my experience, this doesn’t always work out as planned. No matter how much kegeling I do, toys like this one shoot out of my vagina repeatedly while in use if there isn’t something (like a pubis) blocking them.

How is it?

Rayne’s Rating:
Pros: Cons:
waterproof
body safe
rechargeable
decent longevity
short charging time
strong
easy care
magnetic USB charger
doesn’t really stay put
goes from high to low
one button to rule them all
doesn’t remember the setting you left it on
sort of loud

I have tried so many partners toys like this one in the hopes of finding one that works for me. Mostly because everyone is so over the moon for We-Vibe’s version, and I can’t bring myself to spend $150 on something that doesn’t seem to work for me just to see if it’s worth it to spend $150 on the “better” version.

It’s no secret that I’m cheap.

Unfortunately, they all have the same problem. Or maybe it’s not the sex toys. Maybe it’s my anatomy. Either way, this is what happens with the Satisfyer Partner Plus, and other toys like it…

I use a little lube so that M’s penis (or a dildo) will fit inside me comfortably with the toy, and then turn the toy on. He inserts himself. We’re able to go for a few minutes, but then the toy shifts. We have to stop, so I can readjust the toy. In a few minutes, it happens again. And then again.

And then I need to adjust the setting. I’m a low to high kinda girl, and I don’t always use patterns. I’ve only found one or two that I like. This toy goes from high, to medium, to low, and then cycles through all the settings to get back to high. And the settings don’t always change at a single press. Sometimes I have to press and hold for a minute. So if you’re like me, and you start on low, and work your way up to high, you’re annoyed by the time you get to high.

Partner toys for sure need a remote to minimize the amount of time you spend fiddling with the controls and not focusing on your partner.

It’s an okay toy, beyond that. I can get off with it if I’m using it on my own, and holding it in place. The settings still annoy me, though, so I probably won’t ever again.

Anything else I should know?

DO NOT boil this toy or send it through the dishwasher. Despite being waterproof, the mechanics cannot stand the high heat.

You may wash it with an antibacterial soap and warm water. Don’t worry too much about getting the buttons and charge ports wet. It is safe to do so. However, make sure the charge ports are 100% dry before charging this toy.

Where’d ya get it?
