An Inconvenient Truth

February 12th, 2007

The American government believes that we have to choose between the
economy and the environment. I say choosing the economy ensures that we
have no environment. Let's protect our home.

Sometimes slaves care about pertinent issues in the world too. This is
one that I care about. So what, you don't watch a lot of TV?
Documentaries aren't your thing? Read about it instead. Read about what
our complacency is doing to where we live.

In eavesdropping on a phone call Master had with His mother (My boss says it's not eavesdropping if you have good hearing and well… Master was standing right next to me!), I heard Him say "While we don't always get everything paid on time and sometimes we even skip paying a bill all together in favor of doing something fun, we always make sure the house is taken care of. We have to have somewhere safe and warm to live." And I think that really is the basic jist of it. What it comes right down to is we have to have somewhere to live. Economy be damned. We're killing our home.

An Inconvenient Truth
should be mandatory viewing material for high schoolers all over the
world. The world's children should know what they're up against. What
they're parents are too complacent to attempt to save them from. What
our current administration has chosen to ignore in favor of this war
for oil.

The American government believes that we have to choose between the
economy and the environment. I say choosing the economy ensures that we
have no environment. Let's protect our home.
