Review Preview: Vondage by Stockroom.com

July 12th, 2016 Comments off

Screen Shot 2016-07-12 at 9.18.59 AMThis is not a review. I repeat: This is not a review! It’s a review preview! The review will come later. I promise.

I don’t think I’ve ever done this before. Probably because I don’t remember ever being this impressed.

This is Vondage, a fully vegan bondage set by Stockroom.com. And I am absolutely gaga over the cuffs. So gaga that I just had to tell you all about them, rtfn.

I received the entire Vondage set (wrist cuffs, ankle cuffs, collar, leash, hogtie strap, blindfold–sold separately) on July 6th, and I literally haven’t taken the cuffs off except to do things that involve my hands and food or harsh chemicals. Or if we’re leaving the house, cuz it’s shorts weather, and I’m pretty sure my neighbors would lose their shit if they saw me walking around in locking black leather-looking cuffs.

Aside from wearing them constantly, I haven’t used them enough, yet, to write a full out review, but I can say that, as a 24/7 bondage tool, Vondage is #1 on my list.

Yep. You read right. #1. Read more…

Review: NS Novelties Sinful Collar and Cuffs

Excuse the weird image quality. I’m having issues with WordPress displaying images differently than Photoshop. Probably something to do with my settings.

Ooo, what’s that?

That would be NS Novelties Sinful restraints line. And I really, really wanted to call it vegan. Was ecstatic to be able to offer ethical vegans a vegan restraints set that, for me, is so much better than the Fresh set that was so popular back in the day. But alas, they used leather for the strap on the leash. So the cuffs are vegan, and the collar is vegan, but the leash that comes with the collar is not. Poo.

If you’re not an ethical vegan, though, you’re gonna love this whole set. I know I do! Read more…

Product Review: Locking Purple Wrist and Ankle Cuffs with Black Trim by @Stockroom_com

Ooo, what’s that?

We’re rough on leather kink gear. So far, we haven’t completely ruined anything besides the cheap dog collar M bought me from Walmart in the beginning of our relationship, but some of our gear is looking rough around the edges. Like, the metal’s rusting, and the stitching is coming loose in some places, and the leather is so worn there’s not much texture left to it anymore…that’s how you know you’ve got good kink gear. Some of this stuff’s close to 10 years old, and it’s still together!

So, naturally, we’re always on the hunt for new quality kink gear that’s going to last us a good long time. Enter Stockroom and their set of Locking Purple Wrist and Ankle Cuffs with Black Trim.

Some of these pics are of the wrist cuffs, and some are of the ankle cuffs.

Product Review: Jaguar Wrist Cuffs by ASLAN Leather

December 17th, 2010 5 comments

20101217-img_4553Ooo, what’re those?

Those are the Jaguar Wrist Cuffs by ASLAN Leather, and as you can see, you can lock them.  However, the locks aren’t included.  M rarely likes locks that come with toys, anyway, since so many of them have quick releases, or are cheaply made.  So, a Master lock it is.  Fitting, I guess.

What’d they come in?

If memory serves (and this is really pathetic, considering I only just got them two weeks ago), they came back to back in a clear plastic bag inside a box, or envelope, or something. Stuffed in the box was scores of recyclable brown paper, which rocks hardcore, cause my cat is obsessed with paper, and giving her some of this keeps her from searching my garbage can for napkins. And I use it to line my bird cage. So it all gets folded up and tucked away until I need to clean the cage, or Cara’s paper’s too shredded to let her play with it anymore. Read more…

Product Review: Neck and Wrist Restraints by Sportsheets

July 16th, 2010 Comments off

Ooo, what’s that?

This restraint system calls to your more industrial side with its “tool belt” look and feel.  It’s the Neck and Wrist Bondage Restraints by Sportsheets.

What’d it come in?

It came in that clear clam shell box you see to the right.  The lining is paper, and tells you what comes with the set.

How’s it made?

This set is made of black neoprene and nylon, and metal rings and clips.  There are four pieces: a collar, a heavy duty nylon spine of sorts, and two wrist cuffs.

The nylon spine is nineteen inches long and two inches wide.  It’s not super soft, but it’s not scratchy or anything.  The weave is really tight and it feels really strong.  However, holding the metal rings to the sides and bottom is a much thinner piece of black nylon.  While I’m sure it’ll hold up for a while, I’m kinda worried about it eventually letting go over time.  But that might take years, depending on how often you use it.  Read more…

Product Review: Deluxe Locking Wrist Cuffs by Strict Leather

May 7th, 2010 Comments off

Ooo, what’re those?

Those would be the Deluxe Locking Wrist Cuffs from Strict Leather.  They’re the first pair of locking restraints we owned, and we’ve had them for years.

How’re they made?

The cuffs are eight and three-quarters inches long, two inches wide, and about a tenth of an inch thick.  They’re made of at least two pieces soft garment leather, and feel sort of cushioned.  I don’t think they’re actually cushioned… I think it’s just the softness of the leather.

The belt around the cuffs is made of a much thicker, sturdier leather.  It’s thirteen inches long, an inch wide and about a tenth of an inch thick.  On one end is a buckle with a loop on the end of the tongue that you can fit a padlock through.  On the other is five holes to fit the tongue through.  There’s a d-ring about four inches from the buckle.  The belt is riveted to the cuff, rather than threaded through the multiple layers.  And these cuffs have that extra strap to keep the excess leather from flopping around all over the place.  Read more…
