For whatever reason, I call the left side, in this photo, the front, and the right the back. You’ll be glad I told you this as you read the review.

Ooo, what’s that?

I’ve been lusting after Ellove by Fun Factory for quite some time.  I wanted purple.  I really wanted purple.  And every. single. time. I’ve remembered to check her stock status on the store I was shopping at, she was out of stock in purple.  What’re the odds, right?

I’d decided it just wasn’t meant to be.  I mean, look at her! She just looks like she’d ruin a woman for damn near every other toy she could hope to own.  And I figured the fact that she (I guess I’ve decided Ellove is a girl.  Odd that.) was never available in the color I just had to have was some sort of sign.

She was worth the wait.  She’s every bit as luxurious, and beautiful, and stimulating as she looks.  Read more…

Product Review: Brigit by Shots Media

My new lover, Brigit, offered to me by Babeland Toys, showed up in the hands of a handsome, burly UPS man, so I tried not to wrinkle my nose too much at the crumpled box.  You know I was ripping the tape off as I climbed the stairs, right?

There she was in a plastic sleeve inside a pretty black and silver box (lacking naked ladies) that would have been infinitely prettier had the UPS man not crumpled it.  There’s this magnetic flap thing on the back of the box.  I’m really not sure what that’s for.  But it describes Brigit in four different languages, including English.  Inside the box, besides Brigit, was a user manual (in English, French, German, Spanish, Dutch, Russian, Polish and Italian) and two AA batteries.

Brigit is a lot of firsts for me.  She’s my first toy by Shots Media.  She’s my first silicone vibrator.  And she’s my first experiment with pulsation variables.

Brigit has about seven usable inches and is about two inches in diameter.  She’s purple and made of hypoallergenic, phthalate-free, hospital grade silicone.  She has a soft matte finish and mermaid scales on the bottom of the shaft.  She is a dense, but flexible, vibrator with three speeds and ten pulsation variables all controlled by a button on the bottom.  A single push of the button cycles to the next variable and holding the button down turns the toy off.  Read more…

Product Review: Future Flex Turbo Dyne by California Exotics

August 31st, 2009 Comments off

SE0702-12So guess what I found when I typed “jelly ribbed vibrator blue” into Google Images?

You guessed it. Old Faithful. I was thinking Old Faithful just randomly showed up in the adult store up the road cuz I’ve been having a bitch of a time finding its maker.

But would you look at that? It’s by California Exotics. And here I thought I hadn’t tried any of their toys before.

So what can I tell you about Old Faithful?   Read more…
