Product Review: Missionary Enhancer by Sportsheets

October 19th, 2010 Comments off

I know, I know.  Reviews are supposed to be posted on Fridays.  We had an interesting weekend, and technically it was M’s mini-vacation, and so I didn’t get them finished like I’d hoped.  So, because I’m lame, you get stuck with reviews on Monday.  You’ll live.  I promise.  And I’ll do this as infrequently as possible.  But what with the holidays on their way, I’m not making any promises.  Schedule will be back to normal after the holidays, for sure.

Ooo, what’s that?

That’s the Missionary Enhancer by Sportsheets, and it was sent to me free in exchange for an honest review by TheirToys.comRead more…

Product Review: Sex in the Shower Single Locking Foot Rest by Sportsheets

July 23rd, 2010 4 comments

Ooo, what’s that?

I had high hopes for the Sex in the Shower Single Locking Footrest by Sportsheets.  Probably too high.

What’d it come in?

That white and blue cardboard box to the right.  Not at all discreet.  But probably a toy called “Sex in the Shower” can’t be packaged discreetly anyway.

How’s it made?

This foot rest is made of white plastic and rubber.  It’s meant to suction cup to your wall by way of a lever beneath the part you rest your foot on.  Pull the lever up until it locks into place while holding the heavy duty rubber suction cup against a flat surface, and it should hold in place while you’re doing just about anything.  We’ll get to that “should” below.  Read more…

Product Review: Neck and Wrist Restraints by Sportsheets

Ooo, what’s that?

This restraint system calls to your more industrial side with its “tool belt” look and feel.  It’s the Neck and Wrist Bondage Restraints by Sportsheets.

What’d it come in?

It came in that clear clam shell box you see to the right.  The lining is paper, and tells you what comes with the set.

How’s it made?

This set is made of black neoprene and nylon, and metal rings and clips.  There are four pieces: a collar, a heavy duty nylon spine of sorts, and two wrist cuffs.

The nylon spine is nineteen inches long and two inches wide.  It’s not super soft, but it’s not scratchy or anything.  The weave is really tight and it feels really strong.  However, holding the metal rings to the sides and bottom is a much thinner piece of black nylon.  While I’m sure it’ll hold up for a while, I’m kinda worried about it eventually letting go over time.  But that might take years, depending on how often you use it.  Read more…
