Excuse the weird image quality. I’m having issues with WordPress displaying images differently than Photoshop. Probably something to do with my settings.

Ooo, what’s that?

That would be NS Novelties Sinful restraints line. And I really, really wanted to call it vegan. Was ecstatic to be able to offer ethical vegans a vegan restraints set that, for me, is so much better than the Fresh set that was so popular back in the day. But alas, they used leather for the strap on the leash. So the cuffs are vegan, and the collar is vegan, but the leash that comes with the collar is not. Poo.

If you’re not an ethical vegan, though, you’re gonna love this whole set. I know I do! Read more…

Ooo, what’s that?

So when I originally requested these clamps, I was under the impression that they worked more like clover clamps than adjustable clamps. I was wrong. Reading the product description probably would have saved me a little face, but hey, whatever.

Those are the Bondage Ring Barrel Nipple Clamps by XR Brands, and they’re not bad.

How’s it made?

They’re made of coated bronze, plastic, and rubber. They’re about four and a half inches long, and they’re a little heavier than most nipple clamps. Read more…

Ooo, what’s that?

Come on, man1! You know that’s a set of clover clamps!

They’re the Sterling Monarch Nipple Vice Clamps from XR Brands, and can I just say that we’ve never in our lives owned such a sturdy pair of clamps?

How’s it made?

The clamps are made of metal and they’re each about 3.5 inches long and 1.5 inches wide. The chain that connects them is about 12 inches long, giving them an overall length of 19 inches. They’re stronger than most clamps and the protective pads are more grabby. But the best part is you can tuck them in a purse, or an overnight bag and none would be the wiser…except that nosy TSA agent who knows damn well it’s not a bomb. Read more…

Product Review: Bettie Page Longing For Leather Bullwhip

Ooo, what’s that?

That’s our very first bullwhip. Every single time I’ve talked about getting one, M’s hemmed and hawed and suggested something else, and so we’ve got a whole buttload of floggers and paddles, a bunch of canes, two crops, and some belts, but no bullwhips or single tails.

This time, I was flipping through Peepshow Toys’ catalog on my iPad, and I literally squealed when I saw the Bettie Page Longing for Leather Bullwhip. I pointed at it like a six-year-old looking at the Toys R Us Christmas book, and said, “How about this?”

This time, he didn’t even blink. “Get it.”

So I did. And it’s here. And it’s glorious.

I’ve totally signed my own death warrant, haven’t I?

What’d it come in?

A beautiful cardboard box with pictures of Bettie Page on it. I was pretty impressed. Most of the kink toys we’ve acquired in the past came in thin plastic sleeves. Read more…

Book Review: The End In All Beginnings by John F. D. Taff

December 11th, 2014 1 comment

51DbccRXT+LOoo, what’s that?

So a while back, M read a really good book with a few tiny quirks, and the author asked his readers for criticism.

I don’t think you’re understanding the magnitude of my statement, here. In an era where authors are accusing critical reviewers of bullying, the author asked for criticism. So M responded. The author was grateful! And the rest, as they say, is history.

Then this book came out, and it got way more press than I think anyone was expecting, and then we all realized it was totally worth it. Totally. So I planned to review it, and then M said I had to review it because John’s having a contest, and the winner will be written into his next story.

I could die happy as a character in one of John’s books. ~nods~

Anywho…my review: Read more…
