Product Review: Siri by LELO

September 24th, 2010 2 comments

Ooo, what’s that?

Before Siri, the only LELO I owned was Ella.  At first, Ella was amazing.  These days, she never leaves my silicone bag.  Ever.  I’ve been having too much fun with all the Tantus toys I’ve got.

I kept hearing how LELO vibrators would probably be too weak for me.  And I mean, let’s face it.  No one wants to spend that much money, even in gift cards, on a toy it turns out they hate.  So I put off trying them.  And I put it off.  And I put it off… Read more…

Product Review: Sex in the Shower Single Locking Foot Rest by Sportsheets

July 23rd, 2010 4 comments

Ooo, what’s that?

I had high hopes for the Sex in the Shower Single Locking Footrest by Sportsheets.  Probably too high.

What’d it come in?

That white and blue cardboard box to the right.  Not at all discreet.  But probably a toy called “Sex in the Shower” can’t be packaged discreetly anyway.

How’s it made?

This foot rest is made of white plastic and rubber.  It’s meant to suction cup to your wall by way of a lever beneath the part you rest your foot on.  Pull the lever up until it locks into place while holding the heavy duty rubber suction cup against a flat surface, and it should hold in place while you’re doing just about anything.  We’ll get to that “should” below.  Read more…

Product Review: Snugglepuss by Vibratex

February 26th, 2010 Comments off

Ooo, what’s that?

Isn’t it funny looking? Cin has one, too, and it just looked like so much fun.  It’s the Snugglepuss by Vibratex.

How’s it made?

The Snugglepuss is hinged pink plastic encased in a pink elastomer sleeve.  It’s phthalates and latex free and hypoallergenic.  It’s about four inches long and an inch and a quarter at its widest point.

It’s shaped sort of like a “U”, with one side having a sort of butterfly on it with nubs between the wings, and the other being shaped sort of like a big toe (Yes, I realize how gross that visual is.  I can’t help it! That’s what it looks like!) with nubs all over it as well.

The side with the butterfly comes off to reveal the batter compartment, which, if I’m to be honest, I was rather disappointed with.  First, the sleeve is excruciatingly difficult to remove without tearing.  I managed, but I have a tendency to treat my sex toys like the slightest wrong touch will break them.  Second, once I got the sleeve off, the battery cap just sort of popped off in my hands.  It’s a teeny-tiny square of plastic with no real clasp to speak of.  Read more…

Product Review: Athena Waterproof Mini-Massager by The Berman Center

February 26th, 2010 Comments off

Ooo, what’s that?

The style is known as a pocket-rocket.  The product is Athena Waterproof Mini-Massager by The Berman Center.

What’d it come in?

That purple cardboard box in the picture, there.  It comes with a instructions, a purple mesh drawstring bag to store the toy and four different heads.

How’s it made?

The body is made up mostly of transparent purple ABS plastic.  It’s four inches long and an inch wide.  The top has four metal contact points which, you can see by looking through the toy, don’t touch the motor in any way.  Read more…

Product Review: Vibrating Leo by Vixen Creations

February 26th, 2010 Comments off

Ooo, what’s that?

I’m sure you’ve seen this thing on other sites.  Probably the glitter version, since it seems to be the most popular.  The glitter version looks like squid bait.

It’s Leo the vibrating dildo, from Vixen, and it doesn’t sparkle.  It shimmers.

What’d it come in?

Leo came in the same neat sort of cylinder Randy came in, only with black ends.  Same black and red sticker.  Same almost perfect fit.  Same staying power in the lids.  I love it.

How’s it made?

Can I just say, if it weren’t for the wrinkly foreskin, and the difference in the shape of the head, I would swear Vixen took a mold of M’s cock before making Leo.  Leo’s just barely an inch shorter, but about the same width (M’s slightly wider) and shape.  Even the veins are all in the right place!

That made it a little easier to get over the fact that, in day light, it looks like a zombie dick.  Read more…

Product Review: Tongue Vibe by Empire Labs Incorporated

January 29th, 2010 Comments off

Ooo, what’s that?

Well, it’s not the tongue vibe I thought it was, but that’s okay.  I’ve found plenty of other uses for this Tongue Vibe by Empire Labs Incorporated.

What’d it come in?

You  know those molded plastic sleeves that are melted shut at the sides? The ones that are a bitch to open? Yeah, it came in one of those with a bright red insert.  On the insert are three different pictures of the toy in use… sort of.  In one photo, the Tongue Vibe is on a couple dildos.  In another, it’s wrapped around a banana and a cucumber.  And on the last, it’s wrapped around fingers.  The packaging claims this vibe is “oral sex made easy” and well… You’ll just have to finish the review to find out.

As you can see, inside the package, you’ll find a small hard plastic compact, about the size and shape of a powder compact, that contains two Tongue Vibes, both with batteries already installed, and four extra batteries.  While it is a pain in the ass to open (I often have to use a butter knife), this compact was a nifty idea.  Read more…
