Ooo, what’s that?

That would be the Lia Magic Wand.  I can already see you size queens looking at her and rolling your eyes.  Wait till you hear what I have to say before dismissing her completely!

What’d it come in?

The Lia came in a molded plastic sleeve inside of a clear plastic box decorated with flowers and a description of the toy.

How’s it made?

Lia is nine inches (six and a quarter insertable) of pink, purple or white silicone (mine’s pink), with a diameter of an inch and a quarter.  It’s phthalates and latex free.  Bumpy and soft and firm.  And the tip curves ever so nicely to hug your g-spot.  Read more…

Product Review: Lover’s Headgear Advanced Eye Mask and Ball Gag by California Exotics

Ooo, what’s that?

It looks neat, right? It’s the Lover’s Headgear Advanced Eye Mask & Ball Gag by California Exotics.

How’s it made?

This headgear is made of polyester, polyurethane and PVC (the ball gag).  It’s got five metal rings, and a bunch of little metal rivets holding it together.

The outside of the blindfold is slick and smooth.  The inside of the blindfold is soft, velvety and almost warm to the touch.  I thought that was kinda cool.

The strap that runs from front to back, and the one that runs from side to side are elastic and have little adjusters to pull the straps tight.

The straps that run from the blindfold around the chin, and through the gag are not elastic, and do not have adjusters.  Read more…

Product Review: Antibacterial Toy Cleaner by California Exotics

CE-9770-00-1_6836_1Ooo, what’s that?

That would be California Exotics Antibacterial Toy Cleaner, and I really wish I’d read the reviews before buying it.  Though I must say, from reading the other reviews, there’s a possibility I got a bad batch.  But I’ll explain what I mean further in.

What’d it come in?

It comes in a 4.3 fl. oz. clear plastic bottle with a purple spray nozzle, and the lettering is mostly purple.  The bottle doesn’t leak and sprays in most directions without much trouble.

So the other day, M says to me, “You’ve got two dresser drawers full of sex toys and you never ask me to use them.  I thought women your age were supposed to be more slutty, not less.”

What I wouldn’t give, sometimes, to be all, “Dude, can’t you see I’ve been going through something? Take a chill pill.  I’ll catch you up, don’t worry.”

Instead, I assured Him that I’m still a slut, and that I’m just embarrassed.

That’s no joke.  I’m seriously embarrassed to ask Him if I can fuck myself with the toys I get to fuck myself with.  o.O

Yesterday, the Lia Magic Wand, from California Exotics, showed up on my doorstep.  And while I’m usually into much girthier vibes, something about this one had me all sorts of excited.  Then I remembered all my batteries are mostly dead.  So when M mentioned maybe going out later in the day, I asked if we could pick up batteries.

“Why? You think you’re gonna fuck that today?” Read more…

Product Review: Couture Collection Sublime by California Exotics

April 23rd, 2010 Comments off

Ooo, what’s that?

That’s my second Couture Collection vibrator from California Exotics.  After receiving the Ecstasy, I was a little worried about Sublime, knowing that lines of toys tend to stick to the same motors and such.  But Sublime has actually become one of my go-to toys when M says I can play.

What’d it come in?

This CalExotics toy came in a white cardboard box that is slightly more sturdy than their traditional white boxes.  However, there’s still next to nothing protecting the toy, and there was even more space inside for the toy to flop around in.

How’s it made?

The insertable end of Sublime is about six and one-half inches of white medical grade silicone with a diameter of about an inch and a half.  It’s soft and flexible in all the right places, but dense and firm at the tip.  And the last four inches are curved upward slightly with graduated bulging waves.

On the front are a small power button and a much larger button CalExotics is calling a “feather-touch controller” -that lights up when you turn the toy on- to control the vibrations.  It has three steady vibrations, each stronger than the last, and four pulsation variables (one escalating, one slow staccato, one fast staccato, and one that’s three short and one long pulse).  Read more…

Product Review: G-Rock Pleasurizer by California Exotics

February 12th, 2010 Comments off

Ooo, what’s that?

That’s the G-Rock Pleasurizer by California Exotics.

What’d it come in?

It comes in a clear plastic box with blue trim and purple hearts and lettering.  There’s frosted molded plastic that fits inside the box and holds the G-Rock and its N sized battery.  And on the back is a diagram showing you how the toy gets inserted.

How’s it made?

It’s made of pretty, nonporous, phthalates and latex and scent free, lavender silicone and it’s about eight inches, end to end, and it’s about an inch wide all over.  The only exception to this is the angled clitoral “shield”, which is about two inches wide.  Read more…
