Melen’s passion is photography. This is pic he took of a nearby house that was owned by collie breeders and was abandoned after a fire broke out in the kitchen. The house was still decked out in 70s garb. Click to enlarge.

The second installment of answers to questions you asked Melen for his birthday giveaway. Find the first installment here.

PropertyofPotter asked:

What’s your favorite season and why?

I guess fall, if I had to pick one. I like each season for different reasons. Spring because everything is starting to grow. Summer because, well, that’s a no brainer. I live in Upstate NY, so fall is awesome with the leaves changing color. And winter because it gives me a better appreciation for the other 3 seasons.

Do you still have fantasies that have yet to be fulfilled?

Always. I figure once you fulfill a fantasy, might as well replace it with something else. At the moment, those fantasies involve rayne and another girl. I haven’t met the right girl yet, tho.

Do you have a bucket list (sexual or otherwise)?

Not really. I’m horrible at keeping lists. I’m even worse at following them. Read more…

Here are some answers to some of the questions you asked Melen for his birthday giveaway!

Camryn asked:

Why do you believe women should be submissive to men?

This is a difficult question to answer. At least in the beginning, it was upbringing and religion. I was brought up that the man was the bread winner and that the woman handled the children and the house. Wives obeyed their husbands and all of that. Obviously, that isn’t very realistic these days, for many reasons, not the least of which is that many families (couples, or whatnot) can’t survive on only one paycheck.

I guess now it’s just part of my “kink”. I’m a heterosexual male, a bit of a sadist and control freak. So, for me, women being submissive fits into my view of life.

This question is deserving of an entire post, after much thought on how to present what I’m thinking. I will say this, tho. I don’t have a problem with male submissives. I do not think all men are dominant and all women are submissive. I have never had a problem with a woman as a boss, as long as she’s qualified. I have no issues with working with a woman as an equal, outside of the bedroom anyway.

As with most things, my opinion is constantly evolving. Read more…

K2theF asked:

Would you ever share Rayne with other men?

Yes, and I have in the past. Lately I’ve been keeping her to myself. It really depends on my mood, and it really depends on the guy.

Rayne is also my wife, and I will strike quick and hard against anyone threatening that relationship. Because of that, rayne is usually not allowed to be more than a casual acquaintance with the men I let fuck her. It’s purely for sex.

Which leads me to a common misconception; that men want sex and not anything emotional. I can’t begin to tell you how hard it’s been to find men to fuck rayne and keep emotion out of it. Inevitably they cross the line, getting too personal with attempts at friendship, and more. What ever happened to using some good pussy and moving on? Shesh! Read more…

Answers to the Things You Asked Melen

selectivesensualist asked:

Are you more of an optimist or a pessimist? I believe people can be a mix, but tend to lean more one way than the other. Do you view the glass as half empty or half full?

Despite what people think, I’m usually an optimist. I got a review at work once that said I had a “negative” attitude. A coworker correct my boss, saying I wasn’t being negative, I was being realistic. An optimist, in my mind, doesn’t stuff his head in the sand and hope for the best. I view the glass as half full, and then I start planning for what happens when the glass is finally empty. Read more…

Melen’s Thanksgiving Thoughts

November 25th, 2010 4 comments

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday of the year. Even someone like me, who can be pessimistic at the best of times (tho I still claim I’m being realistic), has many things to be thankful for.

A few weeks ago we decided to get a pet. We were at our local Pet Smart to pick up food for the gerbils and birds, and one of the local shelters had a number of cats on site. We didn’t have much money left, so we bought what we needed and headed off to grab something to eat. While we were eating I was thinking about it. I’m definitely an “impulse buyer”, although I’d prefer to look at it more like an adoption in this case. It’s sort of crazy, this concept that you can buy and own another animal.

We hadn’t checked on how much taking a cat home would cost, so on a whim I decided we’d head back and check on how much it would be, with the thought that we’d come back in a couple of weeks and choose a new pet. When we got back to Pet Smart we found out that the adoption fee was 50% off, which dropped it to only $35. All the cats had all their shots and checkups, and were all healthy. In addition to that, they were giving coupons that covered the first big container of litter, and food for a week or more was included. We also found out there were a couple good plastic carriers people had donated. So all we really needed was a litter box. We still put it off, thinking we’d get a cat at the first of the year, when we could afford the pet deposit. Until a friend of ours ended up in the hospital, and none of her family members wanted to take in the cat she’d just rescued from the same shelter Pet Smart works with.

Wanton Wednesday – pigwhore gets a reward

October 20th, 2010 Comments off

Lately I’ve been bummed by the lack of photography I’ve been doing. This year has been a dry year due to work, lack of a car, and other issues. This apartment is so small, and the lack of proper lighting, makes it very difficult to do photoshoots to my liking.

I had a couple of ideas I wanted to try out today. The only shots that came out decent (due to lack of light) were shots taken with the on-cam flash (which, frankly, sucks). I really need to get a speedlite at some point.

Anyways, I liked this shot. I call it “pigwhore gets a reward”.
