Review: Keri by SVAKOM

September 6th, 2016

Ooo, what’s that?

Keri_16

I’m sure by now you’ve heard of the vibrator sporting a camera in the end. It’s called the Siime Eye (which I read as “Slime Eye” literally every time I look at it), and quite a few braver souls than me have given it a go.

This is not that vibe, but it is by the same company. It’s the SVAKOM Keri, and while I’m sure it’s good for someone, it’s just really not my style.

How’s it made?

Keri’s shape is reminiscent of the LELO Ella. It’s short and thin, with a pronounced head, making it perfect for pinpoint stimulation. Keri has 5 vibration modes, including Normal mode, Caressing mode, Joyous Mode, Passionate mode, Climax mode. And it’s controlled by one button on the shaft.

What’s it for?

SVAKOM says Keri is good for clitoral and g-spot stimulation with or without a partner. I can see that. It’s super slim and pretty easy to maneuver. I didn’t try it with a partner, though. Unless you count mutual masturbation, which I do not.

How is it?

Rayne’s Rating:
Pros: Cons:
great shape
rather light
nice material
waterproof
mostly quiet
rechargeable
charge lasts a long time
didn’t get me off
buzzy vibrations
one button to control all settings

I really feel like this toy could have been great. The material is awesome. The company claims to be “green.” The charge lasts for 2 hours after only being charged for 1.

I love, Love, LOVE the shape. I’ve got thick, meaty outer labia, and I need direct stimulation to my clitoris to orgasm, which sometimes makes masturbation with a sex toy difficult. I can’t just press a wand (or anything else) against my vulva and get off like some vulva owners can. I generally have to spread my labia for direct contact. The Keri’s shape alleviates this by slipping right between my lips with no effort at all, and finding my clit right away.

However…

I’m the kinda girl who can get off on just about anything. Just about. Buzzy vibes, rumbly vibes, fingers, whatever, as long as there’s clitoral stimulation. I can’t get off with this. I tried all the patterns and intensities. Repeatedly. No dice. How disappointing.

Aside from that, I’m not fond of the “one button to rule them all.” If you bump the button, or decide to try another setting, you have to cycle through all the settings again to find the one you want. It’s annoying. It’s a boner killer. Nobody likes boner killers.

Anything else I should know?

If you’re in the US, I’m told you can get 50% off Keri at Amazon with coupon code 92BIPG57.

Keri is waterproof, so you can submerge it to clean it, or take it in the bathtub, but do not boil it, and maybe don’t put it in the dishwasher. Wash it with nonabrasive soap and water. Wipe it down with a 10% bleach solution.

Where’d ya get it?
