Ooo, what’s that?

Touch Me Mini Vibrator by Nomi Tang

First things first…I owe Nomi Tang an apology for how long this review (and another I owe them that will probably be at least another week in coming) has taken. They sent me stuff just as things with M’s back were getting really bad, and I dropped all my obligations to take care of him. I think I also forgot to let them know, at first, that this is what happened.

Course, their rep basically said she doesn’t care what’s holding me up; I need to just get their reviews done. In truth, this is the only reason I’m writing this review right now. I’m not really in the mood (the stress we’re under is absolutely insane), and I’ve got other shit that needs doing.

That there is the Touch Me from Nomi Tang. And I actually kinda like it. I don’t know why I was worried I wouldn’t. I liked the Better Than Chocolate, too. Partly because it looks like something from Star Trek. I’m such a geek.

What’d it come in?

It comes in an elegant white cardboard box with pictures of the toy on the outside.

How’s it made?

Touch Me is basically a bullet. It’s a little longer and thicker than my middle finger, and it’s controlled by a “Touch Sensor” on the bottom. I don’t know if it’s user error, or if the Touch Sensor is touchy, but I find that I have to be pretty firm with my touch for the vibe to register.

That’s no biggie, of course, it just creates a bit of a learning curve that you want to deal with before you’re in the act of masturbating. There’s not much in the world more frustrating than getting deep into masturbation, and realizing you haven’t learned enough about the toy to not cock block yourself. I had the same experience with the Better Than Chocolate, though it was a little more amplified by the slider.

The vibrating end is coated with body safe silicone. The handle is “soft touch coated ABS”.

What’s it for?

You can use this vibrator for clitoral or erogenous stimulation. I’d avoid inserting it since it is pretty short.

How is it?

Rayne’s Rating:
Pros: Cons:
silicone
waterproof
innovative controls
only comes in pink
not rechargeable
a bit of a learning curve
not meant for those who need
strong vibes

I was kinda impressed with the Touch Me. For whatever reason, I expected it to be super weak, and super buzzy, but it’s not. It is a little buzzier and weaker than the We-Vibe Touch, but not as buzzy and weak as the Insatiable Desire.

The first time I tried it, M flogged me with our beloved kangaroo flogger, and I ended up bleeding from the labia. That was kinda scary, but it ended up being no big deal, and completely unrelated.

It was hilarious. And gross. And my mattress will never be the same.

But I came before I realized I was bleeding. Hard. And it was amazing.

Of course, I had to use the toy again…and again, and again. Same results minus the blood. I think I’ll keep it. For a while, anyway.

Anything else I should know?

Wash the toy with nonabrasive antibacterial soap. Take the battery out when storing, and store with your other silicone toys.

Where’d ya get it?

Nomi Tang sent me this toy in exchange for an honest review. Their line is pretty innovative and enjoyable if you don’t need a powerhouse. If they could just get that Touch Sensor under control on the toys that have the slider…

I hope the rep is happy now *laughs*
And you would laugh about your labia bleeding. You’re a strange lady πŸ˜›
Touch Me is cute to look at; I like the flare around the base, it makes it look like a space ship. It would look more space ship like if it came in silver, but I don’t suppose that matters much. I need more power, so I’ll have to give this one a pass.

@ Camryn It wasn’t so much that it bled that was funny, as it was how we handled it. I thought maybe I started my period and rushed to clean up and put a tampon in, but blood just kept gushing down my legs. We were laughing at first. “Oh, pussy whipping isn’t dangerous!” Figured he hit a pimple, or something. But then the blood wouldn’t stop.

We got all freaked out, and I had to cram washcloths between my labia so I could get to a place where I could lay down without bathing the house in labia blood. And then, when M looked, there was this teeny tiny hole about the size of the head of a pin that was just GUSHING way more blood than it should have been able to let out.

Only other time I’ve seen a wound bleed that much is when I bashed my head open on the hearth at my mom’s house.

Basically, I nicked my labia while shaving and he ripped it open again with the flogger. But my mattress looks like there was a massacre on it. We’re buying a new one this week. Getting rid of the old one is gonna be embarrassing. Lol.

@ Camryn Oh! We’re not buying a new mattress because of the blood. I just realized that’s what it sounded like. The springs are coming through and breaking. It’s 12 years old. Time for a new one. Especially with M’s back trouble.

@ Rayne Millaray I think the fact that your mattress looks like y’all killed somebody is more than enough reason to get a new one *laughs* I’m just happy you’re getting a new one, I hope it helps his back! I saw a flyer that said mattresses should be replaced every 5 years (Does anyone actually do that?), so it’s long past time for a new one!
