Ooo, what’s that?

That would be the Lia Magic Wand.  I can already see you size queens looking at her and rolling your eyes.  Wait till you hear what I have to say before dismissing her completely!

What’d it come in?

The Lia came in a molded plastic sleeve inside of a clear plastic box decorated with flowers and a description of the toy.

How’s it made?

Lia is nine inches (six and a quarter insertable) of pink, purple or white silicone (mine’s pink), with a diameter of an inch and a quarter.  It’s phthalates and latex free.  Bumpy and soft and firm.  And the tip curves ever so nicely to hug your g-spot.

The handle’s plastic with two soft buttons.  The bottom button, with the power symbol, turns the toy on and off, and if you use this button to turn it on, it starts where you left off.  The top button starts you on the setting after the setting you stopped on, and cycles through all ten.  However, the steady vibrations start at high and cycle down.  I will never understand toys that work that way.  Maybe some people masturbate backwards.  (Kidding… kidding… To them, I’m sure my way’s backwards.)

There’s no texture to speak of on this handle so it does get slippery if you get lube on it.  Twist it counterclockwise, and it pops right off.  Inside is where you’ll install two AA batteries, positive side down.

The vibrations are located only in the tip.  There is almost no transfer at all from tip to shaft.  They’re rather powerful, and rather high-pitched.  As in, a couple of the pulsation variables sound like a spaceship.

What’s it for?

Clitoral, labia or g-spot stimulation.  But you can also use it to stimulate the anus, the nipples, or just about anywhere you’d like.  And it’s great for partner play.  Just be sure to sterilize it between partners or orifices.

How is it?

Rayne’s Rating:
Pros: Cons:
vibration only in the tip
powerful
remembers where you left off
easy controls
sounds like a spaceship!
loud
high pitched vibrations
annoying battery cap
starts on high

At the time of this writing, I really loved this toy.

When I opened the box, I was disappointed.  I’m a bit of a size queen and the Lia Magic Wand is not, by any definition of the word, girthy.  I snuffled a bit, but told myself maybe the bumps would make it feel more girthy than it is.  What? It could happen!

They don’t.  I mean, not really.

However!

It’s silicone.  It’s waterproof.  It’s soft.  It’s flexible between the tip and the last bump.  The vibration is only in the tip.  It remembers where you stopped.

Yes… you heard me right.  It remembers what setting you left it on.

The vibrations are powerful.  Far more powerful than I expected. And… I mean… It sounds like a spaceship! That’s super fun.  I used to giggle every time I turned it on. But it’s also super, SUPER loud, and it starts on its highest setting, meaning you have to cycle backwards through the settings to get to low, and then you have to go through all nine of the settings to get to medium when you’re ready. That’s just all sorts of inconvenient.

And these days, I do not, at all, love it. In fact, I hate it. And if someone doesn’t buy it, it’s going to find its way into the circular file.

Anything else I should know?

While you can’t put this toy in the dishwasher, or submerge it in boiling water, you can wipe it down with a 10% bleach solution.  Or just wash it with plain old soap and water.

Use only water based lube.

Store with your other silicone toys.

Where’d ya get it?
