Product Review: Cyberglass Four-Way G by Topco Sales

January 8th, 2010

A8484-6_001_mdOoo, what’s that?

Isn’t it beautiful? All blue swirls and bumps and bulges.  That’s the Cyberglass Four-Way G by Topco Sales.

What’d it come in?

It came in hinged molded plastic with a white cardboard insert sporting a thin little hottie in a blue string bikini.  On the back, you can find descriptions of its uses and instructions on temperature play.  Inside, you’ll find the dildo and a red velvet drawstring storage pouch.  Sadly, it is not puffy.

How’s it made?

This dildo is hand-blown cyberglass.  Cyberglass is break and chip resistant and can withstand most extreme temperature changes.  It’s phthalate and metal free and nonporous.  The surface is smooth and slippery, and the shaft is firm.

There are two insertable ends to this dildo, which is eight and one-half inches long with a circumference of four and one-half inches (diameter = 1 3/8″) at its widest point.  One side is wrapped with pretty blue spirals and has a curved end with a blunt tip and the other… The other looks like a double scoop ice cream with nuts on the bottom scoop, complete with dollop-y tip.

What’s it for?

Why, firm, spot-on g-spot stimulation, of course.  The curved tips and firm shaft put total control in your hands while you thrust and massage that perfect spot.

What’s really cool about this dildo is the nubs are kind of medium in size and are concentrated in one spot, rather than the full length of the shaft like the Rainbow Mega Nubby.  This makes the toy excellent for someone not all that sure about unforgiving glass nubs.

How is it?

Rayne’s rating:
Pros: Cons:
love these nubs
crack and break resistant
storage bag isn’t puffy
spiral could be more pronounced

Awesome?

I was skeptical, at first.  Unfortunately, I hadn’t tried the Rainbow Mega Nubby yet when I requested this toy, so I didn’t know I didn’t like nubs.  So when the Four-Way G showed up, I was a little nervous.  By the time I settled in to try this toy, though, I had tried the Mega Nubby and had my experience with glass nubs to draw on.  So I started with the ribbed end since I know I like ribs, used lots of lube, and waited until I was over the moon with arousal to switch ends.

Low and behold, I love these nubs.  They’re not overly large, but they’re not so small that they feel like sandpaper, either.  Some of them are a little pointy, but it’s not really noticeable.  They’re close together and concentrated in one spot, which reduces the drag a bit and makes them much more comfortable – even enjoyable – in use.

In fact, I enjoyed these nubs more than I enjoyed the ribs, which is odd.  I like ribs.  The G-Spot Wonder is still my favorite dildo because of its spiraled ribs.  But the spirals on this toy are much less pronounced.  They’re thin and shallow, rather than thick and deep.  Almost unnoticeable.

Overall, this is a pretty kick ass toy.  Definitely has found its place in the rotation.

How do you care for it?

At least store it in the bag it comes with if you don’t have the time or inclination to hunt down or make a puffy bag for it.  Drop it in the top drawer of your dishwasher.  Wipe it down with a 10% bleach and water solution or isopropyl alcohol.  Nonabrasive antibacterial soap and water works great, too, if you’re not sharing between partners or orifices.

If you’re like me, and you like things nice and slippery (especially when a new texture is involved), you can use water, silicone or oil based lubes with this toy.  But you may find you don’t need any.  Glass is awesome like that.

Do a once over before you use the Four-Way G to check for chips or cracks, and don’t use it if you find any.  And finally, be sure to follow the instructions on the back of the package when engaging in temperature play to ensure your safety and the longevity of your toy.  Believe me, you’re going to want this guy to stick around for a good long time.
