The stage is split. On one half is Applebees where Melen sits eating lunch and talking to coworkers. On the other half, Rayne is running back and forth between the kitchen and the computer splitting her time between dishes and talking to her owner.

Rayne: So where’d you go to lunch?

Melen: Applebees, but, before you bitch, I’m not paying for it.

Rayne’s jaw tightens and she sits down.
