Let it snow? Uh… no!
So we’ve got about six inches of snow on the ground and there’s no sign of stopping. I hate it when it snows this much. It usually means beaucoup power outages, insane amounts of traffic despite the current “state of emergency” (that our city put us in before there was anything more than flurries… that’s how definite they were about this storm being bad!) and really annoying people. They come out in droves when it snows. And did I mention that they only just finished fixing the power outages we already had due to the ice storm last weekend? Yeah… this should be fun! You’d think they’d find a way to make the wires stronger for areas with dangerous weather.
Master got to come home early from work today. That was cool. We got a little bit of food shopping in before it got too bad out. However, it was already snowing so hard that when we stopped at Five Guys to grab some lunch the truck was pretty iced over by the time we got back outside. I had to scrape the windows before we could leave.
The roads, now, are pretty bad. I’ve seen maybe two plows since 1:30pm. It’s crazy.
But that’s all I wanted to talk about. I’m jealous of our southern US readers. Well, anyone without snow, I guess. Someone from the south find Master a job so we can get the hell outta here!
Have a great weekend! Chances are good I won’t be blogging tomorrow (like that’s anything new) but we’ll see.
Love and kisses!
